[ClubbedOut]

The concept behind Clubbed Out originated over a few beers in a pub and has grown from those initial thoughts into what you see and hear today. We were sat there enjoying a pint or two discussing whats the norm after a night out clubbing, or simply put what you listen to when you are all 'Clubbed Out'.

A month down the line after the inital 'brainstorming' session in the pub things started to take shape. Testing began on the first music stream using Nullsoft's SHOUTCast DNAS streaming technology. Once we established a stable server streaming the music work on the website began.

The first version of the website was published for the world to see over the World Wide Web on the 20th March 2004.

Over the first few weeks of being live the website changed it's appearance on an almost daily basis and evolved to what you see here now. Whether it will stay like this for long is a different question altogether, who knows......

I have set up a couple of initial test streams from the dedicated server and all seems pretty good so far, nice rock solid streaming connection.
