UPDATE:-

I appear to now be getting email arriving on exchange, but then sits awaiting directory lookup (?)

Seems it's now down to tweakng the exchange config

Thanks fro the pointer Matt - I'll check out how to do that

Struggling a little with outgoing mail now:-

If I send directly from my home server, a lot of mail destination will reject it under the spamhaus PBL list (becuase I'm on a dynamic IP range). I'm trying to configure exchange to send email via the XILO servers as a smart host (as my domain is hosted through them)

If I send unauthenticated, the mail server rejects it as spam mail which I would expect. If I try and authenticate, exchange seems to show the mail as having gone, but it never arrives at the destination (I'm testing sending to another domain's email hosted on the same XILO server)

Can you offer any hints/tips/guidance

Cheers
