Default co.uk domians playing up - 21/08/2007, 11:05 AM

I have had problems on nearly all my new .co.uk domains recently, there seem to be big delays getting the domain to work with the new package created in WHM.

I purchased a domain at least a couple of weeks ago, and today was ready to create the package for the site. I created it but it is not working through the co.uk domian. I went into cpanel and parked the same domain but with a .com and that worked straight away.

Anyone experienced this?

Hi,

Have you set the nameservers on the .uk domain correctly? This maybe why the domain is not working.

If you can list the domain or raise a ticket - we can advise of the issue.

Yes the ns are correct, adn the .com domain set up in exactly the same way worked straight away.

This current domain is now working, though i still get random delas with others. Anyone else noticing similar problems?

Thanks

Sam,

As per the ticket. The nameservers were updated today it appears from the WHOIS. This will cause the domain to work.

When registered, domains are pointed at our default NS unless otherwise entered. You then must change these for it to start working correctly.

Certain domains are set correctly - we're just not able to set .UKs to the correct NS due to the way we register them.

The domain now works as these changes have been made.
