I have been trying to remove the theme changer icon from cPanel but what ever I do I can not remove it. Does anyone know how to do this?

Go to "Feature Manager" in WHM. Create a new feature set (or alter an existing one) and make sure the check box "RVSkin Theme Changer" is unticked. Save that and ensure that you use that new (or existing but modified) feature set on every package you want to remove the icon on.

Thanks Kieran for you quick reply. But I don't have "RVSkin Theme Changer" in the feature list. The nearest thing I could find was "Change Look and Feel" but that doesn't help.

I've seen else where that it should be disabled in "RVSkin Manager" but that doesn't work either. The only thing I can think of at this point is cPanel bug.

If you add a new feature list, it should be the last check box in the list. What theme(s) are you using out of interest?

Sorry I didn't mention its wasn't in a new feature list either. I'm using x theme.

I just noticed that the bottom of the list looks like this:

Fantastico De Luxe
Virus Scanning
Fantastico De Luxe

Hmm something funny is going on here!

Switch to using x3 on the accounts you wish the icon to disappear; x and x2 are not supported and are unlikely to respond to some of the configuration settings.

I thought Matt ands the guys were doing the switch over themselves, although checking the thread, it still shows only 2 being updated.
