Yes, they will be doing the switch-over, but you can still elect to use x3 now by setting a package in WHM to use it.

Just because they haven't switched you over yet doesn't mean the bugs causing them to need to eventually switch you over don't exist. This means that if you come up against any theme related bugs you can jump the gun and fix them yourself by changing the theme that accounts package uses (potentially).

I'm just going to double check this - all servers were completed. I think the post was not updated as it should have been however.

I'll report back shortly.

Hi,

Can you try this again - I have refreshed all the x3/x3mail skins on all servers.

As far as I can see the old themes are now successfully removed and affected accounts have been switched accounts over to the new one.

I've checked my WHM and the default is set to X3.

Does this mean all my clients will now be on X3 or is there something that I have to do recreating themes or packages etc.

Any existing packages you have created, where set to X or X2 will automatically be changed to X3.

However, if you have any auto provisioning scripts that setup your clients automatically - you may need to change any references to x/x2.

Yes the issue was sorted and the new interface is much nicer, Thanks. There isn't as much control over the options as I would like but I expect that might change with cPanel updates.

I'm still seeing two "Fantastico De Luxe" in the feature manager list, not sure what thats about. Only one of them effects anything the other just displays what the first one is set to. This doesn't bother me but it might make sense to you.

Thanks again

Simon

When you say control over the options, what exactly do you mean?

As far as I can see, each user can control the positioning of elements on-screen by dragging and dropping things around.

You can control the access to elements of server by setting the users package.

You can also add/remove icons and thus features by using the feature sets.

It is also possible to brand the x3 header and a wide variety of icons and panels using your branding options under WHM.

If there is something else you were thinking of with respect to control, perhaps there is a way we can help you
