Just to update this ticket. Sophie has been dealing with this and we are just awaiting for a reply from you UncleSteve.

Once this issue has been fully resolved and we have all the information to hand - I will be letting UncleSteve what the exact problem was with Comodo that he was not able to talk to them directly about.

Seeing as the previous thread has been closed by Kieran, I'll give feedback here.

After three weeks of waiting, I have finally received a ssl certificate..... But its for a different company!

What sort of comment would you like now?

Thank you very much for getting this moving, its a dam shame that I had to get angry in public to get something done.

I thought I had 3 weeks or so to get my site working before going live (that was the time left on the old ssl cert from the old host). But... I'm now left with a site which won't show the ssl pages properly, so have contacted a few programmers/web designers to help me get the site back up.

Perhaps you could explain why I get a domain miss-match banner pop-up when trying to view ssl pages that says its assigned to www.not my domain.co.uk, surely this is not correct? I'll also go back to Comodo and 'not my domain' to ask them, as its unlikely the day shift will respond.

Just in case there are any osc experts reading this and can help get my site up and running again, please do get in touch.

That is just ridiculous it must be said. Is the IP address correct? or have you actually been issued with a completely different certificate?

Comodo sent me another and thats the same!

I see in comodos instructions to restart apache, fat chance at the way this farce is going.
