Default FTP error - 19/03/2007, 4:29 PM

Have a non-urgent request...

My Dreamweaver and WS FTP Pro software are not able to connect to my site's FTP. This is the WS error log [user & pw details correct but deleted]

- -
connecting to 193.238.80.55:21
Connected to 193.238.80.55 port 21

220-Local time is now 16:31. Server port: 21.
220-This is a private system - No anonymous login
220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server.
220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity.
USER *******

Host type (S): UNIX (standard)
PORT 192,168,100,12,10,39
! Receive error: connection reset
! Failed "port":
! Retrieve of directory listing failed (0)

I get a PORT error in Dreamweaver and it fails to connect.

Niether software has been changed, both were working on Friday. Both failed to work this morning.

Anyone help with this - or do I need to raise a ticket?

Simon

Try turning on passive mode; if your own firewall settings have changed it may cause FTP to work if it isn't set to passive mode.
