Default vBulletin Forums - 21/02/2007, 4:34 PM

I have been running a vbulletin forum for almost 6 years now and every time the site exceeds around 70 members online at the same time it crashes!

What is causing this, I'm paying what I think is an expensive but worthwhile amount of money again for what I assume to be a top notch server in the UK.

Yet I checked another vbulletin site today and they had 5500 members on at the same time without trouble.

What am I doing wrong!!!!

Mackers,

Sounds like you need some server tweaking to be done. This can be a mixture of Apache, MySQL and PHP changes.

We can have a quick look if you want.

Can I please arrange for this Matt? We tried to break a record and have as many members on the site as possible and we failed quite badly in fact at a meger 70 members.

Hi Robert,

We had a look at this - did performance get any better?
