Default SSH access request - 21/11/2006, 2:57 PM

Hiya,

I raised a log earlier today, but have yet to receive a reply. Also, have been unable to get an aswer on the phone to you.

Can anyone advise?

Cheers

Yes, there are people on support today, tickets have been getting responses.

Is your issue something you can ask about in the forums? If so please start a new thread about it and you might get a faster reponse if its something basic.

It was a ticket to get shell access enabled on my account, so it really needs to be them

Compared to problems with downtime or e-mail failures and other such issues enabling shell access will be quite a low priority thing so you will most liklely have it enabled and recieve confirmation by tomorrow.

I realise it's low priority, but just found it unusual not to have a response withing 2 or 3 hours (maybe that's testament to their usual standards of good service :-) ), hence the post

Coupled with the fact I'm an impatient sod ;-)

There have been some problems today on one of the servers (only mild but it will have caused an increase in tickets) so normally quick things may well take a little longer.

You are right though, normally these things don't take long at all. If you still haven't recieved a response/action by tomorrow then post up here.

Iain,

I've checked your account and can see SSH was granted - if you are having problems - let us know.

(I can see your other ticket on-hold which we are still looking into re: DOM)
