| Reseller ![]() Posts: 23 Join Date: Nov 2005 | Hi I've been running omnidrive document upload software fine till the software suddenly stopped working. Omnidrive support gave me this cgitest to do. #!/usr/bin/perl print "Content-type: text/html\n\n"; print "TEST"; but this gives a server error when put in a .pl file in the cgibin. So they are saying it's a server error. I really don't understand much of this. How can I find out what is wrong with my cgi-bin? Steve |

The odd thing about all this is that the main CGI was working fine until a few days ago. Then it stopped and now everyone is stumped. Xilo have made no server changes (that I know of) and I certainly didn't touch the server. This little test program was provided by the software writers to check for errors. Now of course nothing works and they are washing their hands of it. Thanks for taking the time A Wing, I really am lost when it comes to perl. Steve |

I use a small resellers account. Sorry to put on you but as you can probably guess your the first helpful voice I heard in a few days. Steve |

We are also looking at this in relation to the ticket you have raised but currently dont have anything concrete as to why it was working and then just stopped. We've even compared to the last backup which appears the same. Please do bear with us. I'm sorry that it ended up a permissions thing. But thanks for sticking at it and helping me out. That's lots of kind voices I've heard in the last hour. Steve |
