Attempting to fix the current database was not getting us anywhere fast and after working with VB, we decided to go back to an older version of the database. If you find that some settings in your User CP have been reverted or that you are no longer registered, please accept our apologies. | User ![]() Posts: 23 Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: N. Wales | At least it isn't IVB. We had an IVB client on a shared MySQL server with about 750K posts do an upgrade, after 2 hours the fulltextsearch index re-processing in MySQL crippled that server, which in turn crippled the shared hosting cluster due to PHP scripts waiting. We ended up migrating them to thier own AMD64 based machine just to process the upgrade. |
