Default Should a certificate request take 3 days? - 07/07/2006, 7:58 PM

Hi,

First off I'm not one to complain about support service having been in a job that put me at the sharp end myself. Besides Matt has always answered my tickets in 24 hrs which I reckon is good.

But should I still be waiting for a ssl certificate to be issued after 3 days (nearly)?

I've even sent a high priority ticket (my very first 'high') to see if I've made an error in my application (very likely) but as of yet, nothing. In fact low, medium or high seems to make little difference.

Oh well I'll wait some more and Monday morning it will have to be another first - trying to phone them. Unless of course they answer my ticket.

Steve

Hi Steve,

Our SSL certs are taking longer to get signed than we would like. Once youve completed the URL at our partner, Comodo, we should then get an email to approve it - however, we've not been getting these (so we can can't approve it).

I'm going to look into your ticket shortly and see what I can do now for you.

Apologies for the delay with this.

Matt

Thanks Matt,

I guessed there would be something behind it as you have always been so helpful with your support in the past.

I'll wait to hear from you.

Steve

Steve,

Your cert has been completed and sent to an email address that was classed as the admin contact for the domain - I've updated the ticket to include the email.

Dvotee,

We've had a look at your ticket also - please can you provide an update when possible .

Thanks Matt,

I've checked that email account and there it is.

Thanks for sorting that out.
