Go to cpanel, then cron jobs, set a new cron to execute every minute of every day of every month etc, effectively every minute. Set the command to execute as "/home/[username]/kill-cores" And thats it, your core files will die every minute ![]() If you have more than one place per account where cores are being generated, you can insert a new "rm" line in the bash file. Enjoy ![]() |

| Techie & Moderator ![]() Posts: 753 Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Swindon, UK | I can confirm that core files are no longer being generated and that I have as a result disabled my cron jobs (save on the old server load )I still cannot get uploads to work in the forums on www.routertech.org though.... it seems that freeing up the space that the cores were continuously using on there hasn't re-enabled the upload function, unlike on all my other sites that sport an upload of some kind. Users also cannot download files via the attachment system from there either ![]() |
