| User ![]() Posts: 41 Join Date: Jul 2004 | Have had a brief gander at cPanel, completely lost but I'll get there!! First things first though. My accounts that are currently with sitehost+. 1/ When I want to move an account do I just add the domain in cPanel or do Xilo have to move it for me? 2/ Once it's set in my reseller package (Have created one of those already! ) what address do they get to access the CP?3/ What CP do my clients get, cPanel or HSphere? Any help would be appreciated to get me going. Anyone got a good link for a beginners guide to this stuff? I've done some searches but they all presume I'm Einstein....... Cheers chaps |

Just to answer your questions in turn; 1) If you have control of the domain (i.e you can change the nameservers) you can do this yourself to the ones in your welcome email. If they are .uk we have registered a simple email to us will enable this to be done. 2) This was also in your welcome email - we dont not publish this to protect our resellers. 3) Cpanel - Your new account has nothing to do with Hsphere. I would suggest looking at www.cpanel.net and registered on the forums. I've found a great site if anyone's interested http://www.webhostgear.com/cid_4.html Some neat advice on there for most cPanel stuff, and not as techie as the originator's own. Thx again Cunning |

| User ![]() Posts: 41 Join Date: Jul 2004 | Got my company site switched great, thanks for your help. What's odd though is that only half of my clients can see it? I can see it from home but not from work? I also can't receive emails at work on the domain addy but I can from home? How long does the DNS spidering normally take? Have I forgotten to do something? The site went "live" late Monday night. Cheers Cunning |
