Default sm forums - 20/02/2006, 12:33 AM

Ive recently reported in a thread that i could not get my php-nuke site to load and i got a error:404 whenever i attempted to load it. I have recently tried un-installing it and i tried to install an sm forum to see if that worked however it also gives me an error:404. I asked my friend who will also be using the site/forum when it is up and running to try and load it in both internet explorer and firefox like i have however he also was unable to load the forum. the url of the sm forum is www.andrewnewton.com/empireofownage

Hi there Arnewton,

I suspect that there is not a problem with your site installation as such, but with the resolution of your domain address!

Your www.AndrewNewton.com address seems to still be residing at its old IP address - it's not at a XILO address yet.

Have you updated your nameservers yet?

Cheers for the reply Andy.

Andrew: It appears your domain transfer has been cancelled. It is due to two reasons;

Firstly, the domain contacts ( [email address] ) did not reply to the email to allow us to transfer it. Please contact them and advise of the transfer to XILO. (you may also change the contact email to [email address] so that we can do this for you).

You will also need to remove the registrar lock on the domain as this will prevent transfer.

Once you have done these, please let us know so we can get the domain moved over as soon as possible. In the interim, if you change the nameservers to those listed in your welcome email - you will be able to use the account now instead of in 7 days when the transfer completes.

Tom
