Default mySQL Database size limit? - 04/01/2006, 8:25 AM

Hi ya,

I was just wondering if there is a limit on the database maximum size as I have recently encountered a error on my forum and the phpbb support say that the error 28 I am encountering is the database server running out of space?

Please can you assist on this.

Thanks

Hi,

Can you give me some more information such as the server you are located on or your domain name?

If you dont want to post these publically, please raise a support ticket from http://support.xilo.net/

Thanks

Matt

Hi Matt,

I am currently on a re-seller account on Charlie, the domain is www.swordinhorde.com.

I have checked the re-seller options but cant see any package type configuation for increasing it, it's currently @ 4.96meg of usage.

Hope that's enough information.

Hi,

Database sizes are not limited on reseller and sub accounts. Does the actual account have lots of disk space remaing? or has it used nearly all of it?

There is plenty of space remaining on Charlie so it certainly isnt a server-wide issue.

Hi Matt,

not sure what's going on here, basically the problem started last night just out fo the blue and I have just hunted around some phpbb support sites looking for some answers and get mixed solutions... they say it might be the host, yet others say its teh htaccess file, basically what's happening is when i now go to post I recieve this message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /modules.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have checked the chmod on the files also and they all seem correct, I haven't changed anything or uloaded/deleted anything either, I'm abit stumped now

Hi,

Are you running the latest version of phpBB? and have you kept this upto date with any security patches?
