| Reseller ![]() Posts: 81 Join Date: Dec 2005 | Hi guys, I seem to be having problems, and I'm getting nervous considering its the new year, and January is my busiest month of the year. I have changed the nameservers, from my 123reg control panel, but the website is still pointing to the old ip address - it was over 24 hours since this was done. (nearly 48 hours) when I login to the 123reg panel, it has an option for DNS settings, and still has the old hosting ip address adress. Do I need to be patient or change the DNS records? Thanks for your help Darren p.s. I raised a ticket but didn't get an automated response |

| XILO Staff ![]() Posts: 694 Join Date: Nov 2005 | Hi Darren, We have received the ticket and it maybe possible that the auto reply was dropped by any spam filters you have. Your old host does not appear to have changed the DNS records yet. I have checked WHOIS and it is still pointing to them. If possible, I would suggest trying to call them and seeing if they are able to do it immediately for you. | Reseller ![]() Posts: 81 Join Date: Dec 2005 | Thanks Matt - it eventually sorted itself out - my previous hosting company was unavailable during the holidays. I've sent a few emails over the last 2/3 days, regarding an loading the .sql file to the database that is created - you did reply initially, saying that you had loaded the .sql file but this can't be possible because the database is empty with no tables. Checked the .sql file and it looks fine. This database is critical to our business, and whilst it's down it is causing me a lot of hassle, I could do without this time of the year. I've tried to call 3 times today without success. Please advise ASAP. Thanks for your patience and assistance - once this issue is resolved I will leave you alone I promise ![]() |

Looking at it - it appears that they may have become corrupt upon upload.
