| XILO Staff ![]() Posts: 180 Join Date: Jul 2004 | We have recently been contacted by the owner of a server monitoring company to ask why we were "blocking" his probes of our servers for one of his customers. After looking into this, we can see that due to the way his servers were requesting the information - he was being automatically blocked by our firewall. We have now worked with this company to correctly configure their system, which they have now done. If anyone uses any server monitoring service and notice periods of reported downtime, yet, have not noticed the problem - this maybe the cause and we urge you to ask your monitoring company to contact us.
