Default Can't remove database - 15/03/2008, 2:56 PM

I can't seem to delete a database, can't recall whether I created it intentionally but I would like to delete as it's taking up a slot and I only have 5 slots. I tried to remove it using the MySQL Databases webpage in cpanel and also tried to drop it in phpmyadmin but it said DROP access is denied. At the moment I can't create a new database because i've reached my maximum, so I really need to free up that space.

Hi,

You will have to delete the database via the control panel. You cannot do it via phpMyAdmin.

If you are not able to delete via your control panel, please raise a ticket so that we can carry this out for you. Please remember to include your username and database name in question.

Matt

Matt just said you needed to do it via your control panel, NOT via phpMyAdmin...
