Default SSL certificate query - 1/02/2008, 10:38 AM

Hi

I really need a resolution on my ticket regarding the SSL certificate today - customer is not happy, and will take business away if not sorted.

please can you contact me asap regarding this - I have tried to call this morning, but can't get through.

The only thing you can do is call on the phone and keep trying. If something is urgent it is best to make contact by phone. It is likely there will be a backlog of calls however due to the power failures yesterday.

If there is any help or advice I can offer you here in the forum, please ask.

Hi

this has been raised on a support ticket already - over two weeks ago. I appreciate that you are busy after yesterday, but all I think this problem needs is for all certificates on that account to be deleted, and the correct setting up again. I cannot delete the certificates because they are held in the system .

Please advise

You *should* be able to delete a certificate in CPanel;

SSL/TLS Manager -> Certificates (CRT) -> Remove (link next to the cert you want to remove)

You can then re-add a certificate once you have the correct crt file and all that jazz from the issuer.

I know I should be able to, but I can't

this is the message I get...

The Certificate for *******.co.uk has been deleted. The Certificate for *******.co.uk cannot be fully deleted, because it is installed in the system ssl directory!

please advise
