I've had a an index.htm file doing redirects, however I changed the design of said file, and the strange thing is if I enter http://mydomain,co,uk I get the new file, however if I enter http://www.mydomain,co,uk I still get the original file! I've tried deleting the index file and reloading, still the same. I've deleted the .htaccess file and the problem remains (now replaced). I've even loaded index.htm and index.html and even index.php to see if the new file would display, but the original still displays! Its been about 4 hours since loading the new files, so why is the old file still loading via the www? Anyone got any ideas as I'm getting really.... |

We don't have any kind of cache or reverse proxy that will 'keep' content - as soon as you delete via FTP, it'll update in the browser. Can you confirm if your ISP uses a proxy/cache? | Reseller ![]() Posts: 62 Join Date: Mar 2007 | Thanks for your replies, its appreciated. Tried again this morning and it now seems to work correctly. I did think of emailing the url (but it seems none of the email address's I have work) as I don't wish to post my urls on a forum where site problems are discussed. BTW I had tried IE and Firefox, both of which I tried the shift+F5, but ... |
