Default Helpdesk - 27/09/2007, 11:36 PM

How do we log into the helpdesk?

I've tried my old support password which doesn't work and I've also tried other passwords I have with Xilo and various combinations but nothing logs me in.

Am I doing something stooopid?

That's odd... I seem to be able to access the helpdesk via the "Support" link without having to Logon?

I am allowed to click on "Open a Ticket" and the three options for Billing/Customer Support/Sales, come up.

I haven't tried to actually submit a ticket though.

When I enter my email/password in the login area nothing seems to happen.

I think you can raise a ticket without being logged in but not sure.

I don't think the old passwords work as mine didn't so as Kieren advised I reset and when you do log in your emil addr is at the top right. So with what you are doing you are not logged into the helpdesk.

Thanks - did that and got in... can now see my email and password in top right as well.

Not sure why in his original message, Matt didn't explain that our old login details wouldn't work on the new helpdesk?

Also hope all our old support-tickets will eventually be improrted into the new helpdesk .

Hi,

The priority was to get the new desk in place. The reliability of the old support function was questionable. Tickets would not get created, updated and so on.

Histories will follow soon and they will be linked via email address.

We're going through a few changes here - all for the better.
