Default Moving Reseller Acount to Xilo - 01/02/2007, 10:38 AM

Hi,

I'm considering moving my reseller account over to Xilo.

I've had my current Resseller account with another company for the past 3 years. Things have now changed there, and the support is now very poor.

What comments do current Xilo reseller customers have about Xilo (All good I hope)!

Have you experienced any down time?
What's Xilo's support like?
Any other possible issues?

Thanks.

Downtime is very low here, I can't remember the last outage there was on my server. I know that isn't particularly helpful in a quantitative sense, but uptime figures would certainly be very high.

Support is good, as you can see there is a forum which provides an open area where you can seek help and get assistance from other customers as well as the support team. There is also a ticketing system and telephone support for queries not suitable for a public forum. Using the forums as the primary point of support is best though as response times are generally quicker.

Moving your accounts is easy and the support team will assisit you with any problems you have along the way.

Hope this helps

Hi, I recently moved my reseller account to Xilo, there were a few problems with the transfer, but that was due to my old hosts setup. The support here seems pretty responsive in comparison to my last host.

Uptime wise, Xilo has been good so far, I switched around the 7th:

I'm happy and it takes me a lot to make me happy where hosting is concerned because downtime looses me money.

Like you, I had a nightmare time with my previous host, and it took me a while to make a decision which company I chose and I'm glad I chose Xilo.net!

How would my clients access their Webmail "@mail"?

At present they can access their webmail from "theirdomain.co.uk/email

Not sure this needs an answer now given the last reply was March.

Will close as it's an old thread.
