Morning,

OK I know that you say that domains can take 24 hours to register but for all other domains that I have registered via you guys, the registration is instant.

I ordered a .com about 1 hour ago (ish) and I still haven't rcvd the registration e-mail and in my xilo the nameservers haven't updated.

My question is, since the changes to the .com 'transfer' has this effected the timing on which .com are registered or have I up 'til now just been lucky?

I'm not chasing the registration, just really for my and possibly other users info.

I've found the time between registering a domain (as in entering details and paying) can vary between instant and about 4 hours before getting any e-mails or access to the domain.

I'd just sit tight and it should be available to your shortly

Has anyone else registered a .com today. It's now 7 hours and still nothing so am curious if anyone else has a delay. As I stated previously, usually its instant and whilst I understand it can take longer, being used to an instant reg is holding me up with details etc to my customer.

Just to quickly answer this one - we always say that registrations can take upto 24 hours to fully complete.

However, in this case, it appears there was a registry error which I have pushed through manually.

You beat me to it I was going to post that there was a problem with the registry going through. Hopefully all sorted now.
