Default Transferring Domain Names - 08/04/2006, 2:31 PM

Hi there,

I've currently got an account with you (XS2), which has two domain names associated with it (a .co.uk domain and a .org domain). I want to set up another XS2 account and then transfer the .org domain over to the new account.

I've tried to sign up for more webspace but where I'm asked if I would like to transfer a domain over to you or buy a new one, I'm unable to transfer the .org domain. I get asked to "enter an EPP Auth Key".

I have no idea what this is! Any help would be appreciated, thanks a bundle.

- Dom

Maybe my brain is fried coz it's the weekend and it does that, but doesn't that article explain how to transfer a domain name from somewhere else TO xilo? I've already got two domain names with you, and one account (if that's the right word) that both domain names are associated with. I just want to purchase a second account, and transfer one of the domain names over to that account, so that i've got two accounts, each with only one domain name associated wit it.

If you get me. :s

Aha...

In that case - you'll just need to signup using the "change DNS only" option and then drop us a support ticket from your old account and give the email address of the new account and the domain name - we'll do the rest.

Ah beautiful.

Thinking about it, I should just save the bother and upgrade to a super-duper account instead. Is that easy to do?

You can upgrade to any of the XS (XILO Shared) accounts but if you want to goto any of the XR (XILO Reseller) accounts, they will involve a move as its a different control panel.
