Hi All,

Glad to see that the forum is back.

Just wanted to say hello again and find out if there are many others watching the XILO forums at present.

In the past I have found that an on-line community based with a hosting supplier can help a great deal to exchange ideas when you are all using similar software and set-ups.

Regards,
Ian

Hi Dean,

There does not appear to be much on the CPanel site about what additional features it offers. A quick trawl of some of the forums suggests that there is not much enthusiasm for the additional features that the pro edition is suggested to include.

The most positive quote I found was
Quote:
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD><!-- message -->I got cPanel Pro the free edition, it is not that bad overall. It has some good new features 4 to be exact. Support link for your clients to forward them to a support page or submit a support request through cPanel. Image manager, which you can use to do multiple things such as make thumbnails, change size, and convert format. BoxTrapper which allows you to block spam, the way that works is it sends an email back to the sender to verify the address which the mail came from and the sender has to click a verification link in order for the email to be delivered. Finally a Leech protect, stops others from linking to your files and images.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Sorry, but I have not found much else that is worth reporting back.

Regards,
Ian

I've had a quick glance at this.. It seems that Fantastico is far better than Cpanel Pro.

Have you thought about this Dean?

Matt
