hi to all
im having real problems with my guest book, it seams that some spammers have got hold of the url and r hitting it and leaving porn links and rubbish in there entrees is there any way fixing this, or do I have to take my guest book down. I ve left the entrees up if that could help any1 tell me how to stop them Guestbook

CAPTCHA test. Google for it, or I have a CAPTCHA I wrote that I can integrate for a small fee.
Alternatively once the user has posted, mail a confirmation link to them, the post won't display until confirmed.
Neither of these will eliminate it completely but both will stop the bots.
A keyword search for common spam terms (such as pharm, viagra, etc...) may also help.

If you haven't had your guest book for long, consider looking for a solution that uses Akismet and begin to use that. It kills most spam for all web applications that can support it. (Bear in mind I don't know if a guest book solution using akismet exists, I just know Akismet does a good job with spam almost eliminating the need for captcha)
