Default Flash oddity - 17/11/2005, 6:01 PM

Hi,
We have been trying to add a new feature to our site but for reasons none of us can work out the file will not display properly on our server. It will display on every single other server we have tried it on, including both windows and linux. eg: http://www.vantrix.net/game/demo.php

But whenever we try to install it on our server all we get is this:
http://www.petnebula.com/scratch1/demo.php?cardresult=4

We have tried uploading in all formats we can think of, using SCP and FTP but with no luck. Got any ideas?

Thanks

Adam

Adam,

I can see some sort of flash game of "coin rub". Is this what I should be seeing?

Matt

Yes it is a scratch card game that we have had developed for our site.
On the top link i posted it works perfectly but it is installed on a friends server in india. The bottom link i sent is on our server that is supplied by you and is not playable. The files are identical and were uploaded in the same way but will not work properly on our server.
We have tried it on many different servers, both windows and linux in malaysia, india and UK and ours is the only one we have found that it will not work on. So we all believe that the fault must be with the server. Any ideas what it could be?

Ive had alot of talks with the developer and it seems that the swf file requests the images from our server via the clients machine and therefore it was our hotlink protection causing the problem. Thanks for the replies they are always appreciated. And yes Gareth the error is because we have not finished the final coding as we couldnt see the card and images displayed but are working on it right now
