About a month ago I decided to move my sites from my existing host to XILO. Basically I had lost confidence in them. I found Xilo and read through these Forums. I am impressed by the fact that all comments are there "warts and all". My existing host deletes any adverse comments from the Forums.

So I rang the 0800 number to speak to sales. They answered it (another good sign). They advised me what I needed to do to ensure a smooth transfer of domain name and site.

Came the day, and all transfers and moves were made (at 5 30pm after our office hours. Excellent). My site was down for approximately 1 hour while the move was made. Everything went smoothly with no major problems. And sales staff were available to advise me of progress.

Once set up, I discovered a problem with my emails. A quick call to the support telephone service next morning was answered immediately. Five minutes later my email problems had been sorted out and everything is now 100% perfect.

I get more for my money at XILO. More webspace and more bandwidth. The sales team were extremely helpful. The support was prompt, pleasant and very efficient.

I am now left wondering why I stayed with my previous hosting company for four or more years.
